Grace Sellwood
Dancer and co-producer
Grace has toured nationally and internationally with companies including Wired Aerial Theatre, Off the Wall Aerial Dance, Cscape Dance and Urban Playground, performing across the UK, Europe, South America and Australia.
Her performance credits include As The World Tipped, To Me, To You…, She Who Dares, The Venus Flower and Wipeout. She has also worked with The Chemical Brothers on aerial performance and motion capture for their live tour visuals, directed by Amit Lahav.
Grace is Co-Director of Off the Wall Aerial Dance, creating, performing and touring outdoor aerial productions. Recent highlights include performing in the Opening Ceremony for Glastonbury Festival 2025 and touring the company’s feminist-led outdoor work Backbone. She is also Director of Freefall Dance, a Cornwall-based dance hub providing training and creative opportunities for community and professional dancers.
Alongside her performance and creative practice, Grace lectures on the Musical Theatre course at Falmouth University, specialising in dance technique and creative practice. She is also a qualified Pilates Matwork, Aerial Pilates and Bungee Workout instructor, integrating movement education and body awareness into her teaching.
She is delighted to be returning to Cscape for Quest for the Lost Words, bringing together her passion for physical storytelling, playful movement and creating work that connects with audiences of all ages.
Cscape is a Resident Company at Hall for Cornwall and has received funding for projects from a variety of of sources including Art Council England, FEAST, Cultivator as well as other funding bodies.
