Lucy Freeman
Dancer
After graduating from Falmouth University, Lucy joined international touring company Mapdance, gaining a Master’s degree in Dance Performance. She has since completed two tours with Exim Dance Company and performed with companies including Far Flung Dance Theatre, Plymouth Dance, Above Bounds Theatre Collective and Copeland Life. Her performance work has taken her to venues including the Stockholm Fringe Festival, Teatro Niccolini in Italy, Theatre Royal Plymouth and the Eden Project, alongside a wide range of site-specific and outdoor productions. Lucy has also spent many years working within community and accessible dance practice, leading and facilitating inclusive dance and movement sessions with a range of communities.
Alongside her performance career, Lucy works across production and stage management, currently touring as Stage Manager for Wipeout with Off the Wall Aerial Dance Circus and stage managing the Eden Project’s annual Christmas Experience.
Cscape is a Resident Company at Hall for Cornwall and has received funding for projects from a variety of of sources including Art Council England, FEAST, Cultivator as well as other funding bodies.
