Education:

• 1st Class BA in Dance & Theatre at Roehampton Uni-versity
• PGCE at Exeter University

Suzie continues to teach, create and perform contemporary dance in the South West.

Suzie is a dedicated re-searcher and ‘meddler’ in the placement of dance in education, for both teachers and the students. SpinDrift Dance Collective has evolved out of her passion to keep the local dance ecology well connected to current contemporary prac-tice.S

uzie has spoken at conferences and taught seminars for Universities and organisations in the UK and Europe. Her research follows community of prac-tice methodology. possibility thinking, humanising creativity and the role of so-cial media in creative dialogue.

As well as directing SpinDrift, she trains young dancers in local schools, at Falmouth University and as co-director of Hall for Cornwall Youth Dance Com-pany. Suzie is local to the South West and has a vested interest in local stories, beauty spots and people when making work. She specialises in site specific per-formance, large community performance and creative partnerships projects.

Suzie is a wild, animated and athletic performer who performs regularly for lo-cal choreographers in SpinDrift and internationally with Chhaya Collective. She has also performed with Rogue Theatre and Cscape,

Suzie has worked on several projects with Cscape as well as dancing on Neptunalia at Somersault Festival in 2015 and Taste as Education Manger and Tour Assistant.
